As the leaves fall and the days grow shorter, the Earth reminds us that everything moves in cycles — birth, growth, harvest, and rest.
In this week’s episode of Guided Voyage, I share the story of the Wheel of the Year, an ancient way of marking time through the turning of the seasons. It’s told as the dance between the Sun God and the Earth Goddess — their love, loss, and renewal — and it mirrors the rhythm of our own lives.
Each season carries its own invitation:
To rest and release, as the darkness of Samhain settles in.
To nurture our light, as the newborn Sun returns at Yule.
To cleanse and renew at Imbolc, plant new dreams at Ostara, and celebrate joy at Beltane.
To honor our growth at Litha, give thanks at Lughnasadh, and find balance again at Mabon.
The Wheel shows us how to live in F.L.O.W. — to Focus on what matters, Live in rhythm with the Earth, Open to practice through small rituals, and Witness our own transformation.
When we slow down enough to notice, we realize we are not separate from nature — we are nature. The same cycles that move through the land move through us, too.
